Important: This is an unpaid experience. We are filming in Birmingham, AL and can only afford travel and food accomidations for our lead actors/actresses. Missing Pieces is an independent feature film directed by Kenton Bartlett with Jonathan Artuo as Cinematographer. It is a multi-faceted narrative suspense drama. The leads will be cast through a vigorous auditioning process. The process begins with the actors’ submission of information and a video audition and concludes with scheduled call back appointments at a future designated location. The bulk of production will take place in Birmingham, AL. Three of the five leads will separate from the main production on the fourth week of principle photography to shoot in expansive locations throughout North America. The promising theatrical distribution approach is explained in the movie’s business plan. Director, Kenton Bartlett, is an American University graduate student who has worked on a variety of short films. Kenton often expresses his firm belief that the public’s acceptance of Independent Films is based on the quality of story and the quality of the film equipment used in production. Contraction Entertainment is working with a top-notch script and is investing the majority of its budget into the highest level of film equipment - striving to reach a level of quality approaching standards of Steven Spielberg. Missing Pieces offers opportunity, not just for the actors but for investors as well. Public and economic interest has resulted in partial sponsorship by the following companies: Sennheiser, Sephora, Samsung, Venus Puzzle, Set Wear, and Kino Flo.
