Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, the interest in movies began in high school. The need for free movies lead to a nearly full time position as a supervisor at a local movie theater for a few years. Too much free time at American University in Washington, DC resulted in an involvement in recreational filmmaking as I continued my formal education in film and business.

Taking on several large personal projects seemed the next logical step to learning about filmmaking in depth. The most ambitious project is a short film called, “Student Short Film.” It took a total of 10 months and 800 hours to complete (a lot of that time was spent figuring things out), so if you have 20 minutes, check it out to gauge what you think of my work.

A “real movie” is much better than “Student Short Film,” but I understand the differences and am prepared to fill in those gaps to make a real movie that we can all enjoy!
